We are a fast growing charity that receives no Government funding, which is why it is vital that we have our wonderful supporters to help us keep the wheels turning on our Mobile Cancer Care Unit Project.
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers who care about bringing cancer care closer to patients’ homes. From helping out at our own charity events to attending supporter events on our behalf, if you would like to help, please get in touch
– we’d love to hear from you!
We are currently looking to recruit Volunteers for the following roles:
The Event Helper will be required at both internal and external fundraising events i.e. those that we are organising, and those that we have been invited to attend. Typically we need help manning our stands, selling merchandise and collecting money, however the duties may vary depending on the type of event. We’re also looking for people to attend community events and hand out information/collect money on our behalf.
The Community Champion will assist the Hope for Tomorrow team in promoting our aims, representing us at a range of occasions/community events, distributing information to local companies, schools, surgeries etc, and seeking out new marketing and fundraising avenues in the area.
The Community Champion role involves public speaking so if you would like to develop your skills or simply would like to use the public speaking skills you already have, we would be delighted to welcome you to our team of volunteers.
Admin at Head Office
The role of Marketing & Admin Support will provide assistance to the Hope for Tomorrow, Head Office team in a variety of related tasks in support of our fundraising activities. Intermediate IT skills and the ability to easily communicate with people from a range of backgrounds via telephone or email is required.
Collection Box Coordinator
Coordinators place our Collection boxes locally as part of their daily life and every few months tally up the funds before paying them in to Hope for Tomorrow. You will develop relationships with your local shops and businesses representing Hope for Tomorrow and persuade them to host one of our boxes using up to date information provided from the Volunteer information pack.

“When I retired I was looking for a volunteering opportunity and I had heard about the wonderful work that Hope for Tomorrow does for cancer patients. Giving a little of my time to such a worthy cause has been extremely rewarding.”
