Why do a challenge event for Hope for Tomorrow?

Stephen Bawtree (pictured below), Chairman of Pegasus Group, based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire recently completed the Lands End to John O’ Groats cycle challenge in aid of our charity. This is what he said  of his experience:

“It was a wonderful and rewarding challenge. It was inspirational to talk to people along the way about the good work that Hope for Tomorrow do.The best bits were cycling in good weather in the Yorkshire Dales. It was a zen experience, it was an inward journey as well as an outward journey.
I was very keen to work with a locally based charity. The charity means a lot to me because both my father and my wife’s father died from cancer. There is a deep resonance for me in helping people do a little bit to help those being treated for cancer. A lot of people’s lives are affected by cancer so a lot of people say it is a good cause. The money raised is mainly from people through work colleagues and friends. I am very grateful to all who have helped along the way by raising funds and supporting the challenge. I am really looking forward to working with Hope for Tomorrow by undertaking further similar challenges.”

Stephen raised more than £7,000 for Hope for Tomorrow
