Volunteer

As a charity we try to keep overheads to a minimum and one of the most effective ways of doing this is through volunteers helping us at events, in the office and on our Mobile Chemotherapy Units.

Volunteer in 2012
Volunteering for a charity can not only be rewarding for the knowledge that you have provided much needed support, it can also gain you access to exciting events around the country.

Volunteer with Hope for TomorrowWe are currently seeking volunteers to help us with various events taking place in 2012.  Please get in touch if you would like to get involved, or would like further information, either via telephone on (01666) 505055 or via email to info@hopefortomorrow.org.uk.

You can also check out our 'Use your skills' page to find out what other opportunities we have available.

Use your skills

We are always looking for volunteers to help in the following ways:

Community champions
  • To aid the Hope for Tomorrow team in promoting the charities aims

  • To represent the charity at a range of occasions and community events

  • To distribute information to local companies, schools, surgeries etc

  • To seek out new marketing and fundraising avenues in the area

HGV drivers

We use volunteer drivers when we need to take a Mobile Chemotherapy Unit to an event, or when NHS drivers are on holiday.

As is sadly the case in many families today several of my relatives have suffered cancer and undergone the long treatment process. Being able to help by driving the MCU allows me to give something back and it is rewarding when patients comment how nice it is to receive treatment closer to home
