As a charity we try to keep overheads to a minimum and one of the most effective ways of doing this is though volunteers helping us at events, in the office and on our Mobile Chemotherapy Units.

Use your skills

We are always looking for volunteers to help in the following ways:

HGV drivers

We use volunteer drivers when we need to take a Mobile Chemotherapy Unit to an event, or when NHS drivers are on holiday.

As is sadly the case in many families today several of my relatives have suffered cancer and undergone the long treatment process. Being able to help by driving the MCU allows me to give something back and it is rewarding when patients comment how nice it is to receive treatment closer to home
