Raising funds for, and awareness of Hope for Tomorrow, our Mobile Chemotherapy Unit project, and the MCU service.
Back in 2014 we began an annual initiative called 'Chemotherapy in the Community Week' (CITC Week), during which, along with our supporters, NHS Trust Partners, community groups, clubs, and Corporate Charity Partners, we collectively spend the week raising funds for, and awareness of Hope for Tomorrow, our Mobile Chemotherapy Unit (MCU) project, and the MCU service, via a wide range of activites and events.
The CITC Week 'Pack'...
Each year we produce a special foc 'pack' ahead of CITC Week, which supporters can request, that contains all the resources that they may need to help them with their fund and awareness raising activites, including balloons, sashes, newsletters, leaflets and other literature, the Hope for Tomorrow Charity video, and much more.
We'll notify you when the packs are ready, so keep an eye on our CITC Week news page for details.
Our Annual MCU Partners' Day...
We kick CITC Week off with our annual MCU Partners' Day, where representatives of each of our Partner NHS Trust MCU teams come together to share best practices, hear about the Charity's progress, and listen to specially selected speakers on relevant topics.
Previous Years' Activities...
Over previous years, activities have included Bake-off's and Bake Sales, the South Gloucestershire Badminton Ride, the 'Tetbury Tour' raffle, in which many local businesses took part and generously contributed prizes, Mobile Chemotherapy Unit Open Days and Birthday celebrations, 'Wear a Rainbow to Work' days, Christmas Jumper days, and various collections.
